Cupping with Full Body Swedish Massage
When cupping on two or more areas are requested along with full body Swedish massage. When a cup is applied, the underlying skin, tissue, and muscles are raised creating a negative pressure, and may cause petechiae. Petechiae, or cupping marks, can range in color from a light pink to a dark purple. These markings may be due to stagnant blood, cellular debris, or pathogens that are brought to the surface for the lymphatic system to clear away. The end result is an increase of circulation to the area, blood flow, promotion of cell repair and muscle tension relief.
